"The Sentence Game Goes Public"

The sentence game was posted on a few big sites and suddenly it's huge. Games are completed every couple of minutes (used to take a week per game when it was just me and the beta testers). It's really exciting!

"Wedding in Five Days!"

I can't believe I'm getting married in 5 days. It blows my mind! The wedding preparations are going well - but keeping Jess and I really busy. I think that "the wedding" is a good concept for keeping two people who love each other from getting married unless they are really serious about it. I'm glad that Jess and I are so certain that this is the right thing -- otherwise I think we'd go crazy with all the preparations! I love you Jessica, my wife in 5 days!

"Class V"

Not long ago I kayaked my first Class V river! The river is the Upper Youghiogheny. Thank you DJ for being my river guide - I had a great time.

"Airport = A Spare Moment"

So it definitely sucks to be sitting in the airport waiting... but I guess the good thing is that I'm putting in a blog entry for the first time in months. ---- The wedding is in a month and a half and I can't believe how much there is to still do. It's all coming together really well - but I'm definitely looking forward to the day--because it'll be fun, and also because I'm looking forward to not having to worry about wedding planning anymore!

Daily Thoughts for January 30, 2006
"Cocktails!"

Jess and I held a cocktail party this weekend and had a wonderful time. For fancy hors d'oeuvres, I made rumaki and jess made stuffed mushrooms - but we also had a cheese platter and chocolate fondue and chips and (homemade) salsa; and from Gretchen, a delicious edamame dip and a cookie platter. Guests generously brought some excellent liquors and once everyone arrived we had (at least to my amature eye) a full bar. Many thanks to Rick for all the bartending! Instead of rum and cokes, we were enjoying Sazeracs, Cosmopolitans, and Sidecars (among many others). ---- I'll be sure to post pictures and fun stories of the event soon.

"Wedding Planning"

Planning the wedding has kept Jess and I very busy the past few weeks. We're looking forward to having the major components of planning finished - it sure is amazing how much is required for a wedding though! ---- I cleaned up a few things on the website (broken links, etc.) In the not too distant future I plan to actually get those pictures online (from the past year!) --- There's now a number of sites that are hosted on emontellese.com See the links on the left to visit them.

"Happy Holidays"

Jess and I visited my family in Pittsburgh this weekend. Was much fun - we stayed with my dad this time; which was something we hadn't done before, but it was really nice. Happy Holidays and have a good new year!

"Blogs Are Now In a Database"

I've been improving things in the website - one of which is that all blog entries are now database driven. yay! (I didn't put all the old entries into the database, however - that would have sucked - to see those, you need to click on the "archived daily thoughts" link below).

What is this Site?
got here by accident?

emontellese.com is a spattering of this and that collected over the years (mostly college). Many of the pages haven't been updated in... well... ever! And as I've gotten older, busier, and lame-er, I've pulled the majority of this flim-flam from public scrutiny. Gone are the pictures of keg-stands and awkward guestbook messages! (I can feel your disappointment from here).

What little webdev time I do have is spent on thesentencegame.com.

If you've gotten here by Googling me, you may be looking for EME
